Class I Annual Day

The Spirit of Togetherness The early morning showers on 19th February dampened our spirits but a few hours later things brightened up. Class 1 of Delhi Public School - Ahmadi presented its Annual Day to celebrate “The Joy of Togetherness.” The program commenced by invoking the blessings of the Almighty through dance and song. The melodious voices of our young singers swept the audience off their feet. It was “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” enacted by the kids that kept us spell-bound. A colorful and mind blowing act by a group of Circus artistes mesmerized everyone. Energetic children performing in popular folk dances of Punjab and Maharashtra kept all clapping. The Arabian culture was exhibited through a wonderful dance. The Fashion Show by the models of Class-1 walking down the ramp was scintillating. And last but not the least was the Salsa Dance which saw the kids sway their hips to the beat of Latin Music. The occasion was graced by Chief guests Dr. S. Neelamani - Senior Research Scientist and Ms. Malini Vishwanath who were over whelmed and so were the audience who gave a standing ovation to the kids. Our honorable Principal Mrs. Anju Dheman complimented the children with her warm and encouraging words and thanked all the teachers and support staff who helped make this day a happening one. This joyful performance was sincerely worth watching together.
